NMR Analysis
Explore the circuit through an NMR-style interface: pick a spin sample, set static and RF fields, choose pulse shape, and view molecular structure, pulse sequence timing, and a synthetic spectrum. Shares the density-matrix engine with Data Analysis but targets spin-system pedagogy.
Left sidebar panels
| Panel | Description |
|---|---|
| Sample | Dropdown of packaged spin systems (sorted by qubit count, then nucleus commonality). Shows formula, nuclei list, and gyromagnetic context for the selection. |
| Magnetic Fields | B₀ (tesla) sets the static field; B₁ (millitesla) sets the RF amplitude scale for pulses. Slider + numeric input stay linked. |
| Relaxation | T₁ and T₂ in seconds for decay modeling in the simulation path. |
| RF Pulse | Shape: square, Gaussian, or sinc. Phase: 0° (X), 90° (Y), 180° (−X), 270° (−Y). |
Main visualization area
- Molecular Structure: canvas diagram of the selected sample (fullscreen available).
- Pulse Sequence: timeline of RF pulses applied in the NMR model.
- NMR Spectrum: frequency axis in ppm or Hz (toggle), zoom in/out/reset, fullscreen.
The tab initializes on first open and refreshes when you return after editing the underlying circuit so plots stay consistent with the latest run.
Who this is for
Pure gate-model users can ignore this tab. If you teach NMR or want students to connect qubit rotations to RF pulses and chemical shifts, start here after running the circuit once. Reference data for nuclei also appears under Other Resources.
